Hello all!
The Motley Junket girls got busy at Goumas Candyland last night "sweetening" the place up with all kinds of vintage goodness! After a long day at the Country Living Fair on Sunday and then working at the candy store on Monday, I was bone tired last night, so the blog post had to wait until this morning, but here you go! Lots of photos, so I'll limit the commentary, but if you have any questions, shoot me an email!
For those of you who may be new to our blog or not too familiar with Motley Junket yet, I thought I would tell you a little bit about us!
Keely and I met about 5 years ago when I was working at an antique mall. She and her husband would come junkin' and looking for treasures with their adorable little girls who always stole the show with their cute outfits! Seriously, she's got two of the cutest little girls you have ever seen! At the urging of her husband, Keely decided to get a booth at the antique mall. Needless to say, most of my paycheck was spent in her booth!
Fast forward a few years later, we decided to get a booth together and mix our stuff creating what we call our "random assortment of vintage wares". Our styles our similar, yet different enough that when we mix our goods, it really creates a quirky and eclectic look, but yet it works!
A few months ago, Keely's family asked if we would be interested in displaying our vintage goods at one of the family's candy stores in the quaint town of Granville, Ohio. So now, we still have our little booth space at Heritage Square Antique Mall in Columbus, Ohio as well as this newish adventure of ours in Granville.
We love the Granville store because it's a mixture of vintage and homemade candy and chocolates. You can get your vintage fix and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time!
In addition, I recently had the opportunity to open a petite vintage shoppe of my own where I live in Canal Winchester, Ohio. You can read more about that journey at my blog Georgie Emerson Vintage. I'd love for you to swing by and say hello! We chronicle both of these adventures on Facebook too.....here are the links in case you prefer that social media:
Needless to say, we are busy little bees these days! But we're doing what we love and what we're passionate about!
Thank you for coming by ........... it's always nice to have you!
~ keep dreaming ~

Hi Polly,
Everything looks so awesome! It sounds like you have your hands full...I don't know how you do it? I finally gave up my booth at the end of 2011 and I solely just do my growing wholesale business.I am adding new lines to go with our towels, shams, coasters and more :) I hope you have a great week!
Smiles,
Sheila
