White Wednesday - ironstone and rust

Better late than never right?
I almost didn't make it to White Wednesday this week.  Well, technically, I didn't make it since
today is Thursday!  At any rate, here I am!!

This is a corner in our family room.  The old tool chest was green until Sunday.  I slapped
a couple coats of white paint on it to brighten it up a bit.  And then I added a few new finds on top.

This old tool chest has proven to be a very functional piece for us.
We house all of our Wii games inside.

I found this ironstone pitcher last week at a thrift store for $5.
love.
I didn't have one in this tall sleek silhouette.

The cool rusty flower was a find at the Scott Antique Show on Saturday, another $5 find.

I just set it inside the square ironstone bowl I got for $2 at the antique show.

That rusty architectural piece in the back was a Heritage Square Antique Mall find
several months back.  I think it was $10.

It was nice to give this area a new look for little cost!

Stop by Kathleen's blog, Faded Charm, to visit with all the White Wednesday folks!
Kathleen is showcasing some old handwritten letters tucked into a drool-worthy
architectural piece this week!  You will be enchanted!

Sorry I was late Kathleen!

Great tool chest! Don't you love pieces with tons of little drawers?!

Oh, and that rusty flower needs to be mine :)

I love White Wednesday! I think we should designate a White Thursday, as well!
